Hostess and Product Clubs Are Now Forming!

In today's economy, it's hard to spend hard earned money on things that aren't necessities but a girl still has to have fun, right? Plus, we have to find creative ways to stimulate the economy too. That's why I decided to start offering a variety of Hostess and Product clubs. What are these clubs you ask? Joining a club is a fun way to slowly and wisely acquire stamp sets and supplies, learn a variety of techniques, share ideas, and eat CHOCOLATE. Club members agree to purchase a specific dollar amount and runs for a specific number of months. Each member is assigned a 'hostess month' where she earns at least a Level 1 hostess set and $15.00 to spend on anything in the catalog. She can boost her hostess benefits by acquiring outside orders. A product club, is formed around a specific item or group of items. For example, the Marker and Paper Club consists of four members and runs for a total of four months. Each member will be the hostess one time during the club cycle. The hostess month is determined on a first-come, first-served basis, so whoever signs up first gets to be the first hostess, etc. The hostess for that month will get at least $15 in free SU merchandise plus one free Level 1 stamp set. You may add other supplies to your order to increase your hostess benefits. The cost to participate in this club is $46.00 which includes shipping & handling and sales tax. This club also includes a Club Night to learn techniques using the markers. Please Email me and I'll send you complete details. Happy Stamping! Connie

Rose Red, Taken With Teal, Oh My!

Happy Friday, I know I haven't posted for a while and I hope to change that. Last weekend my upline and I hosted a scrappin' for a cause event for Relay for Life. While we were few in number, we had a great time. I haven't begun scrapbooking yet but plan to very soon...as soon as I find all my pictures! I was able to make a couple of cards between helping others with their projects.

I used the Embrace Life set (love this set!) for this card. The cardstock is Rose Red, Taken with Teal and Whisper White. I stamped the leaves with Old Olive. I stamped the other little flowers using the Old Olive and then used the Stampin' Write Markers (Rose Red and Summer Sun) to color them in. I cut out each individul flower and then glued them on to the leaves. What was I thinking! The photo is a little skewed but it did turn out pretty don't you think?

For this card I used Rose Red, Taken with Teal and a piece of the Apricot Appeal designer paper from the Prints Pack (Hostess Set). I also used flowers from the Flower Fusion packet and a brass brad. I love these colors together.

I hope to be posting a class schedule very soon. So check back often!
I have to go and work on my swaps and pennent for a get together tomorrow in York. I'm so excited. I can't wait to see and hear of all the new ideas from fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators.
Be Blessed!
Connie

Just Getting Started

Hello everybody...Happy Spring.

I'm going to give this blog thing a try and share what I've been up to.

I've been crafting for a very long time and finally decided to join the Stampin' UP! team of demonstrators. I joined Stampin' UP! for a number of reasons:

  • I love the products that this company offers
  • I can share my love of crafting with others
  • I have a creative outlet
  • To support my craft addiction
Stampin' UP! offers a very distinctive line of rubber stamps, designer papers, coordinating card stock, inks, ribbon, and embellishments and so much more.

In celebration of my 50th birthday (that's right, the big FIVE-O), every order $50.00 or more (before tax, shipping and handling) may choose any color Classic stamp pad FREE! This offer expires August 10, 2008.

I am offering a class on to make 12 all occasion cards along with this delightful box to hold them in. If you'd like to make this project but are unable to attend on this date, let me know and perhaps I'll be able to add additional dates.

You can be prepared for any occasion with this stunning collection of 12 all-occasion cards in a custom-designed box. This card set makes a perfect gift for the person who has everything, or simply keep it on hand for yourself!
