Holy Triptych Angel

I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful day in Central Pennsylvania. I've been busy stamping away and I'm trying to use some of my scraps and came up with the project below.
First, I ran a piece of Thoroughly Modern Designer Series Paper (Item 115673) through my Big Shot (113439) using the Daisy Texture Plate from the Texture Plate Kit #4 (Item 114531). I used a Sanding Block (Item 103301) to sand the raised image. I stamped the Angel from the Holy Triptych set (Item 110370) on Whisper White (Item 100730) with Basic Brown Classic Ink (Item 104315). Then I colored the image using a variety of Stampin' Write Markers. I used the 1 3/4" Circle Punch (Item 112004) and adheared it to a leftover 2"circle from the Circles #2 Die (Item 114526) in Chocolate Chip (Item 102128).
I stamped the sentiment from the retired Star-Studded Season set in Basic Brown on a scrap piece of Kraft (Item 102125). I tied a 12" piece of Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon (Item 109071) around a scrap piece of Bermuda Bay (Item 115317) and completed the assembly.
I really love the colors in this DSP.
Have a great day!

Soft Suede Christmas

Hello. I hope you have been enjoying the Remarkable Holiday Blog Tour. Click here to begin at the beginning.
My entry today is my version of the card posted by Kimberly Van Diepen. My supplies are limited so this is how I did it. I also used a stencil made by running a piece of THICK window sheets (Item #114324) through the Big Shot using the Lattice Die (Item #115958). Using a Sponge Dauber (Item 102892) I sponged Soft Suede Classic Ink (Item 115657) on the Whisper White cardstock (Item 100730). I stamped the snowflake trio from the Christmas Punch Level 2 Hostess Set (115366) over the stenciled image. I stamped the "A Merry Little Christmas To You" on Whisper White cardstock and punched it out using the Wide Oval Punch (Item 112082). I roughed up the edges of both the stenciled layer and the layer cut out of Kraft cardstock (Item 102125) using my Paper Snips (Item 103579) and by wetting the edges with water. I tied it up using Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon (Item 109071). I mounted all on a base of Soft Suede with a sponged edged using Soft Suede Classic Ink.
I hope you all like my version of Kimberly's beautiful card.
